PAST SIMPLE: IRREGULAR VERBS

Past simple(AFFIRMATIVE):
EXAMPLES:

Nick went to sports shop.
We took a train.
Brian fell in the lake.
He got weet.

RULES:

We don't add +ed to all verbs in the Past simple.These verbs are irregular verbs.
Go=Went
Take=Took
Fall=Fell
Get =Got
Irregular verbs(QUESTIONS,SHORT ANSWERS and NEGATIVE).

EXAMPLES:

Did you have fun?
Did he get wet
we didn't find the camera.

RULES:

To make a question in the Past simple, we use did+subject+base form of the verb.
For answers,we use Yes,(I)did/No,(I)didn't.
We make the negative form of the past simple with subject+didn't+base form of the verb.
These rules are the same as regular verbs.
